Wisley Medium 3 Light Semi Flush in Heritage Brass

A drum of opal etched glass banded in heritage brass, held by exposed knurled fixings. The detailing is where the character sits: the knurling and the brass band give it a workshop edge that stops the drum reading as a plain builder's fitting.

Semi-flush is the useful part. It sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging, so it works where a pendant would be in the way, on a landing, in a hallway, or in a kitchen with a low ceiling, while still having enough diameter to look deliberate rather than apologetic. At 456mm across this is the medium size, which suits an average to generous landing or a hallway of reasonable width.

Three lamps sit behind etched opal glass, so the output is diffused rather than point-source. That matters on a landing, where a bare lamp at eye level as you come up the stairs is the usual complaint.
