Read the span before anything else: 650mm across. That is deliberately small for a ceiling fan, and it makes this a fitting for a bedroom, a study, a nursery or a loft conversion rather than a large open-plan living room. In a small room a compact fan moving air gently beats a large one you have to run on its lowest setting to avoid a draught. If you are cooling a big space, talk to us and we will point you at a wider blade span instead.

The light is the other half of the job and it is a proper light, not a token one. 3900 lumens from a 70W integrated LED, tuneable from 2700K warm white through to 5000K daylight, so the same fitting can give you a cool working light over a desk in the afternoon and a warm one in the evening. Colour rendering is above 80, which is respectable for a fan light.

The motor is rated 105W and runs quietly, which matters more in a bedroom than anywhere else in the house. Five year manufacturer's warranty.
