How big should a table lamp be?
Judge it with the furniture it sits on. A bedside lamp should feel balanced with the bed and bedside table; a console can carry a taller or more sculptural lamp. Shade width and overall height matter as much as the base.
Should table lamps be bought in pairs?
Pairs work well on bedside tables and symmetrical consoles, but a single lamp can be a stronger choice where the furniture arrangement is deliberately asymmetrical.
Are shades included?
Some lamps include a shade and others are sold base-only. The individual product page will state which applies.
What colour temperature suits a table lamp?
2700K gives a warm, relaxed effect; 3000K is still warm but slightly crisper. The right choice depends on the room and the other light sources around it.
