How do I choose the right size chandelier?
Consider the room, ceiling height, furniture below and the visual weight of the fitting. Proportion matters more than following one rigid formula. Read the full sizing guide.
Can a chandelier work with a low ceiling?
Yes. Look for shallow, flush, semi-flush or short-drop chandelier-style fittings that give presence without sacrificing headroom. See our low-ceiling guide.
Can chandeliers be dimmed?
Many can, but the bulbs or integrated LED driver must be compatible with the dimmer being used. Read our LED dimming guide.
Integrated LED or replaceable bulbs?
Replaceable bulbs offer flexibility and simple lamp replacement; integrated LED can enable slimmer, more sculptural designs. Neither is automatically better. Compare the two approaches.
Can I see chandeliers switched on before buying?
Our Camberley showroom displays a selection of decorative lighting switched on, so you can judge scale, finish and sparkle in person. Not every online chandelier is on display, so contact us if you want to check a particular style.
